january the first, two thousand and three
first and foremost, i would like to let everyone know that the new year's show at rob's house was the greatest thing ever. my sincerest compliments go to all of the artist we shared the stage/basement floor with...you're all the best. i have to say that communist prep school was my favorite though. if any of you guys read this, you should open for us sometime! or better yet, we should open for you! it'll be great!
in other news, i'm preparing myself as we speak to put in a few hours of work on the old sidereal website this evening, expect some slightly cooler things soon.
and i promise, the very second that i receive the recording of the show, you will find it available for download. be prepared.

complacency is, in my way of thinking, the enemy of all that an artist is and strives to be.
it is with this in mind that patrick, lloyd, and i have begun nursing a child: something i hope to call "manifest".
all details are just sketches in my notebook for now, but on may 17, we hope to put together and host a day long music festival in clarksville, with a very low admission charge and lots of great bands. all of our efforts will aimed at quality and the preservation of what it is that makes music such a holy, uplifting experience. we will be accepting help from any and all friends that would like to be a part of the cause and encourage everyone to get involved.
the only confirmed bands right now are, obviously, the sidereal and sleeping car conductor, but if you or your band is interested, please contact us.
sponsorship is currently non-existent, so again, if you're interested, contact us.
we will also need friends to help with parking, promotion, booking etc.
guess what? if you can help, get your ass active and contact us!
i'd love to do something right, for myself, for our band, for all of those people who bitch that there is no clarksville 'scene' and that 'everything sucks', and, most of all, for music, my savior.
